The Unknown Land of Széklers in Transylvania

This program takes participants in to the cradle of the Székler culture, however this time on a bit different way.  Leaving behind the traditional Transylvanian tourist programs, participants will not only have the chance to expire the local culture and gastronomy.  We invite those to participate at an expedition, who will not boggle at unexpected twists and unfamiliar adventures.  This way they will have the chance to get a deeper insight into the every day life of local people and into the hospitality and tradition of Széklers.

We will get know by our 4WD cars the beautiful landscape and we can get at such venues that are inaccessible by other types of vehicles.  The expedition runs in an interactive way and it might happen that local people will give the group that piece of information that is necessary to move further.  Sometimes only GPS equipment will help participants. Among others this trip navigates visitors to Székler’s saint hill, to the mystic world of the Madarasi Hargita, participants might take a walk among the rocks in the Vargyas pass and around the Lake Szent Anna.
